In Need of Quality F-15

Recommended Posts

Since LOMAC is garbage, at least on my system (BSOD and a myriad of problems), I want an F-15 for FS9 if possible.Does one exist? Also, what is the best Lago out of the three military they offer? Thanks,Chris

One question? Why on earth would you want to fly an F15 in FS9, it would only be a sight seeing exercise.JAnes F15 combat sim would be a far better option if you can get a copy. Whiclt not perfect for its time it was cutting edge and still can cut it in todays combat sim market place.Alternatively Falcon 4 with the spak upgrade is awesome.Being a LOMAC user myself I have had no problems on my system, maybe you should try altering the settings slightly and forget about all the bells and whistles. Well thats my two pence worth.Wycliffe

>One question?>>Why on earth would you want to fly an F15 in FS9, it would>only be a sight seeing exercise.I'd say my favorite pastime........... lately with FS9 is flying Kirk Olsson's F-16 up to around 30,000' msl, using mesh scenery for the western U.S. This aircraft is very good looking, has an excellent VC for great views, and extremely frame rate friendly. And best of all, I can cover a lot of ground easily to check out the mesh.As to sight seeing, it was, & still is the "main" reason I took up real flight. It's like sitting on a "lot" of mountain tops for the panaramic view to the distant horizon; and for me, it's no different when using the sim. In fact, since my main hobby is building full size airplanes that hopefully look good, I also like to see well done "eye candy" airplanes for flight simulators too.L.Adamson

Well, if ever there was a good answer that sure as hell is one. When you say you build real aircraft, anything in particular and what do you fly in the real world.I have to say I'm as jealous as hell as flying would I consider be better than sex.Well maybe not but I'm sure you get my drift.I've just had my 50th birthday and I realised one of my ambitions which was to own a Landrover Discovery which was delivered the day after my birthday. The other is to take my PPL, I have an introductory flight as soon as the weather gets a little better here in the UK.Then I guess it will only be amatter of finding the cash to fulfil that ambition.Cheers and happy flying in FS9 or the real world.Wycliffe

Good to see you like four-wheelers! :) I've had two Toyota Tacoma's & just bought myself a four door, four wheel drive, Chevy-Silverado with a lift, leather seats, XM radio, and OnStar.I've been involved with the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Associationg) for 15 years, and am just finishing up a Van's RV6A. It's an all metal two seater (side by side) with 180HP Lycoming & constant speed prop. There are lot's of these being built & flown in the U.K. too..Link to Van's Aircraft:http://www.vansaircraft.com/L.Adamson
