unable to install XGauge, ASE

Recommended Posts

I am unable to install XGauge on a networked set up o ASE build 572ASE itself installed fine and accepted the mapped drive of FSX on the Server PC (Vista), client is running XP ProWhen I run the XGauge wizard from the client I get an Unhanded exception error. If I continue ASE asks for the location of FSX, I point it to the mapped drive, which ASE already has accepted, and just get the unhanded exception error again. If I copy the wizard exe over to the server PC as soon as I run it I get "XGauge Wizard has stopped working"I should add that all 3 folders are shared with write permissions. Can anyone offer any help please?

Hi,I am having exactly the same problem with my networked FS9 installation of ASE. Could you enlighten me on what you had done wrong initially, so I could check if I am making the same error? Thanks!
