Caravan suspension

Recommended Posts

I love my Caravan until... I land on a grass runway such as WA79. Then it bounces so much that with the EZCA enabled I feel like my head is banging on the ceiling. Are there any air file gurus or aircraft.cfg gurus practised at setting suspension travel or contact points so that the aircraft behaves itself better on the rougher strips?I would love to do it myself and share but I honestly would not know where to start. Thanks in advanceJohnCanberraStraya

I'd approach that by making an individual EZCA profile for the Caravan, one that reacts less violently to the bumps on the field.

I noticed that at WA79, too. Looks like it's time for a little EZCA editing.

Made a bit easier by the very readable "Advanced Effects Manual" included in the latest version 1.15.1 update.

None of the settings in the advanced EZCA manual worked. In the end I just clicked off the Camera Resonance and Dynamic Head Movement, leaving just the Random button clicked. All is good now.
