Autoland landing off runway!

Recommended Posts

Hey, When I do an auto land, the aircraft lines up, captures the glide scope and flares. However it always lands on the grass just left of the runway, any ideas?Thanks.Kman739739

Hello, Please sign your full real name to your posts in this forum per forum rules, thanks.Need a bit more info in order to help. What airport and runway are you talking about here?Normally when this is seen it is due to an offset. Sometimes due to obsticles the ILS brings you down at an angle to avoid a structure. This can be seen on I believe 22L on KBOS and of course, many other runways.Check the chart and see of it states anything to do with an offset. If you play around with Afcads at all you can always check the airport file with ADE too.

I had the same problem with autolanding beside the runway and that registry repair tool fixed my problem. (WinXP, FSX, PMDG B744).Now flying is a pleasure again, thank you!!!!!!!Best regards,Jürgen Lauteren
