Wow, I'd say! Thanks for the closeup images on the best way to ruin a perfectly good engine. :-)

Was flicking the remote last night and hit on a movie with Bruce Willis. Seems his wife is on an L1011 that can't land for some reason (joined the movie real late). He's in a helicopter. A 747 (full of bad guys, I assume) is trying to takeoff. He has the helicopter hover over the moving 747 and he jumps on the wing. He jams his coat in the ailerons, so the crew send a guy out one of the emergency exits to take care of the situation. A fight ensues and the bad guy falls down on one of the engine intakes and is sucked in. Fortunately, they didn't show him coming out the back!Bruce saved the day by uncapping a fuel cap before he is thrown off the wing by another bad guy. Naturally, the fuel was spewing out and Bruce lights his old style lighter, set the fuel trail on fire, which travels up to the plane that is about 20-50 feet of the ground, where it explodes. The explosion provides enough light for all the circling aircraft to see the runway and land. Hooray for Bruce!!

"Die Hard II" is the movie in question.Set at Dulles Int'l Airport near Washington, DC.A drug kingpin is being extradited to the US, and is expected to land at that airport. His henchmen figure out a way to take his transport plane, and his cohorts figure out a way to take over the airport. John McClain just happens to be at that very airport waiting for the arrival of his wife. Also, a blinding snowstorm just happens to be going on at the same time.Action and meyhem galore. Yippie kai-yei, mother mother! -Greg
