I don't think the Columbia 400 with G1000 avionics is anywhere near release, but Eaglesoft has a DA42 with their own G1000 that can be replaced with the Mindstar if you want.Flight1 has the Citation Mustang with G1000 avionics.

Thanks trisager. I know F1 Mustang, but I'd like to buy a turboprop.Do you know if the DA42 G1000 is fully functional? or is better one of Mindstar?I don't know about the release state of C400 and G1000, it seems to be an abandoned project, is not?

From the ES product pages: Eaglesoft Garmin G1000 Avionics Suite based on FS GPS System. So I'd expect something similar to the default G1000 in FSX, re-packaged and adapted to the DA42. Plus an option to easily install the Mindstar G1000 into the VC if you decide to buy it.The DA-42 has piston engines (running on diesel, I believe). If you want a turboprop, the Lionheart Quest Kodiak also has G1000 avionics - also based on the FSX GPS, I believe.

I'd buy the Flight1 C510 Mustang - it's definitely a GA aircraft. Probably the best G1000 simulation out there right now:http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=f1mustang

Our C400 contains Avidyne Avionics in "Portrait Mode". We will eventually release a G1000 Version and it will accept the Mindstar G1000.Our recently released DA42 Twin Star contains an (accurate to the DA42) G1000 which utilizes the FS GPS Database and GPS System and also accepts the Mindstar G1000.There are two types of G1000 currently used in FS.1. A custom built G1000 which uses the FS DB and GPS System and XML/Vector drawn code.2. A custom built G1000 which may use a custom DB and the FS DB using C++/GDI+ code.1. Is more affordable and usually surpasses the default by a large margin.2. Is a bit more expensive and usually allows for improved/added features and surpasses the default by an even larger margin.Real world Garmin G1000 units are often custom tailored to specific aircraft so a DA42 G1000 will differ greatly in appearance and function from a Cirrus "Perspective" G1000. Something to consider as you shop.:(

Hi everybody, Cessna Mustang Form Flight1 is the best G1000 I have found in FSX, most of the pages / functions are actives and it is very similar to the real one.(I have about 60 hours logged on real G1000 GA airplane) I Haven't tested yet the DA42 G1000 from eaglesoft (just the one from Iris) CheersLouis

Hi guys, thanks to all for replies.I like very much Columbia 400, and some months ago I liked to purchased the Corvalis TT for X-Plane, then I opted for MU-2, but this is another story....So, I'd like to purchase the C400 for FSX but it doesn't have G1000 like the counter part in X-Plane.1) So is there any date to release the C400 with G1000? and will have the database update from Navigraph? I think it's a must, like G1000 for Cessna Mustung.2) Is it possible to merge Mindstar G1000 with the actual C400 from Eaglesoft? Thanks a lot,Riccardo

You can add in the Milviz C310R as well... It has the G1000 (based on the FSX version). It also allows for you to replace it with your own though we did not do 3d buttons/knobs inputs.

Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information.  Please provide proof of purchase if you want support.  Also, include the username you wish to have.

Don't forget about the Epic Victory by Lionheart (LHC).While not up to aficionado standards, it is the one I like to use most.jja
I agree! It's simply beautiful.

A pilot is always learning and I LOVE to learn.
