Detroit, MI (4 September 2010) - American Flight Airways and Pacific Airways are supporting in coordination with Virtual Pakistan International Airlines the victims in Pakistan by joining the fund raising event next Sunday September 12th. In order to raise funds for the victims, we at VPIA in association with Imran Khan (http://www.mkrf.org) and Air Child VA are holding an online event at VATSIMFor every flight to or from Karachi, $5 will be donated to charity including an amount equal to 1Euro for UNICEF.pakistan_tub.jpgA girl carries her younger brother through floodwaters near Sukkur, Sindh Province. © Getty Images/Daniel Berehulak"A spokesman of Virtual Pakistan Airlines stated: "Over 20 million people are in dire need of food, clean water and shelter. From the people who receive the aid, to the participants - I am certain all will be more than glad to pitch in and fly if that means food and water that may help save lives. The more people that fly, the more donations will be raised, and I will be very pleased if pilots from APG would honor us with their presence. I realise that you must be short on time since running a va is a full time job, and working very hard to ensure that flight simmers around the world have a good time, however I hope you can spare some time in making this event known to your members."Details:Sept 12Time : 1500Z-1700ZAirports: To/From Karachi will receive $5 / 1 Euro donation.Pilots welcome to fly at any other airport if they wish to.Charts and Sceneries: http://vpia.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=1http://vpia.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=731http://vpia.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=730 We suggest you fly the AFA Disaster Relief B747 (download from our aircraft hanger)AFAB744NG%20AFA_DisasterRelief.jpgRegards,[signed]Thomas SnoeckAFA CEOtop_lt.gifAmerican Flight Airways Virtual Airlines is a major US virtual airline with US hubs at Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco and Washington D.C and international divisions in Australia and Latin America.
