747-400F Cargo

Recommended Posts

What is the landing weight of the 747-400F? Using the load manager with a full load cargo the ZFW is over the -400 landing weight. It is difficult to fly with no fuel (joke)Don Emerson

In the real world it varies, but I think PMDG just modeled the basic GE Variant weights. In poundsMTOW 875,000MLW 666,000MZFW 610,000Actual weight maybe slightly different as they tend to model their products on one aircraft from a particular airline. I'm not at home so cant check the exact figures.

In Kgs:MAX ZFW - 288113 KgsTAXI - 398500 KgsMAXTOW - 397005 KgsMAXLW - 302100 KgsSo with a full load of cargo you could theoretically land with just shy of 14t of fuel. Not great if you have an island reserve or a remote alternate but fine if your chugging around most of the developed world.Steve
