Wilco Airbus Autoland Problem

Recommended Posts

Guest Balse

I have a problem with the autoland function of the Airbus A330-200 of the wilco airbus series volume 2.Every time I try to use this function the plane touches ground about 300ft before the runway.Everything else works smooth with the autopilot.I can fly to the waypoint who aligns with the runway. There I activate the LOC function, and the plane aligns correctly with the runway. When I enter the ILS glide slope (from beneath) I activate the APPR function and the AP2.At first everything seems to work fine and the plane starts to descent. But then it descents beneath the glide slope and touches ground before the beginning of the runway. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing???

Not sure.Did you try contacting Wilco support; they'd be in a better position than me for this type of question.Best,
