September 10, 201015 yr Hi,Your code is wrong and some config files.Try:1. The gauge<Gauge Name="spoilersound" Version="1.0"> <Element> <Select> <Value> (A:SIM ON GROUND,bool) (A:Spoilers handle position,position) 0.2 > and if{ 2 (>L:Spoilers deployed,enum) } els{ 0 (>L:Spoilers deployed,enum) } </Value> </Select> </Element> </Gauge> In your soilersupsound.ini file this must have been written:[Config]MaxSounds= (number of your sounds)ErrorFlag=0LvarStop=soundstopVolumeVar=Radio_Range_VolumeResetVolumeVar=0[sounds]Sound00=./Aircraft/B737_800w/panel/NewGauges/spoilers deployed.wavetc.[LVars]Lvar00=Spoilers deployedetc.I advise you to put the spoilersup!dsd xml sound3 gauge in the same new map "NewGauges" to have everything together.(Why to use 3 dsd sound gauges?; one gauge can generate 99 sounds...)Change the panel.cfg to:gauge22=NewGauges\spoilersup!dsd_xml_sound3, 1270, 920, 10, 10, ./Aircraft/B737_800w/panel/NewGauges/spoilersupsound.iniOK, try again!Jan Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
September 14, 201015 yr Ok, the gauge still don´t works!!!Now I tried on another planeAnd nothing worksMy "New Gauges" folder located at "/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/iFly Boeing 747-400/panel.VC/New Gauges" looks like that:My "Spoilersupsound.ini" located at "/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/iFly Boeing 747-400/panel.VC/New Gauges/spoilersupsound.ini" looks like that:My "Spoilerssound.xml" located at "/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/iFly Boeing 747-400/panel.VC/New Gauges/Spoilerssound.xml" looks like that:End the entries in the "panel.cfg" located at "/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/iFly Boeing 747-400/panel.VC/panel.cfg" looks like that:So what is wrong now?
September 14, 201015 yr Hi,Rename dsd_xml_sound3.gau to spoilersup.gauJan Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
September 16, 201015 yr Hy!I´ve done, what you said! But but now: "The Sound of Silence"Nothing works!I only renamed the gauge, all others are like in the pics above!
September 16, 201015 yr Hi,Show me what files you now have in the NewGauges map.To call the panel map panel.VC is confusing.Do you use the name VC in the aircraft.cfg, like panel=VC??Normally you should have:map panel, with submap newgaugesin map newgauges you should havespoilersound.xmlspoilersup.gauspoilers deployed.wavspoilersupsound.iniin the panel.cfg:gauge27=NewGauges\spoilersup!dsd_xml_sound3, 1270, 920, 10, 10, ./Aircraft/iFly Boeing 747-400/panel/NewGauges/spoilersupsound.inigauge28=NewGauges!spoilersoundNB You describe your files are in:/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/iFly Boeing 747-400/panel.VC/New Gaugesbut in the panel.cfg stands:gauge27=NewGauges\spoilersup!dsd_xml_sound3, 1270, 920, 10, 10, ./Aircraft/iFly/panel.VC/NewGauges/spoilersupsound.iniThat doesn't work! must be the same.iFly Boeing 747-400 or iFlyBack to the drawing board.Jan Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
September 16, 201015 yr Try gauge27=NewGauges!spoilersup!dsd_xml_sound3instead of gauge27=NewGauges\spoilersup!dsd_xml_sound3( ! instead of \ )Not sure whether that makes a difference, as I have never put a .gau or .cab into a separate folder in /panel.Gunter
September 16, 201015 yr Hi,That is true for xml gauges like the spoilersound.xml, but not for the spoilersup.gauSee the different synthax in the panel.cfg.Jan Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
