MDL edit

I'm looking for a way to change the default distance of spot plane view in my aircraft. Most AC's default distance is 300ft or greater and I find myself having to manually set the distance everytime I load a new plane. I know I can use zoom but it's too much like cropping the whole picture. Anyone know how to do this or how to edit the mdl file?Thanks,Tim

Hi :)Try downloading an editor called "TCDFSVIEW" by Stefan Schroeder :) I use it, and it works with a lot of my FSDS planes .... it may work with GMAX planes ... I've never tried! :)American Airlines Virtualhttp://www.aavirtual.com :)

You know, I remember using that tool in fs2k but it won't work with FS9. Thanks anyway.Tim
