FSNAVDBC locks with Simflyer's JFK enabled

Recommended Posts

Hi all,I successfully installed FSNAV 4.6. Upon running the database builder, it locked on SimFlyer's JFK scenery. I disabled it from the list and the database was built correctly.Did anyone else with SimFlyer's JFK experience this?JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

Hi !It's not locked up - for some reason KJFK takes a long time (about 70+ minutes) to process. Just set it going and go grab a coffee or something ! Subsequent processing passes are as normal.I had a similar "problem" and received the above after emailing SimFlyers.Cheers,Alastair

Same here with SimFlyers EDDF. Takes a lot of time. It also used to take long in FS2002, but the FS2004 version seems to take longer. I think it has something to do with the many parkings/gates etc? Anyway, patience does it's thing here ;-)

Hi! Here is a tip to make FSNAVDBC process much faster. Temporarily move all the KJFK BGL's from the SCENERY folder to a temporarybfolder except the RUNWAY11 to 15.BGL files and EXCLUDE 01.BGL file. Then run the FSNavDBC, it will compile KJFK in a fraction of a second. After that has done, put back all the KJFK BGL's into the SCENERY folder and run FS.Cheers,fs_pjonear Mt. Fuji
