NL2000 - the entirety of the Netherlands, including many, many airport.There are a lot of great Russian airport sceneries to be found. You should check avsimrus.com. Go to the file library and look under "sceneries". The amount of quality freeware is enormous...

Right now, my favorite is KPHL by SunSkyJet. Utterly jaw dropping -- BRAVO, guys.www.sunskyjet.comAnd let's not all be greedy here and just take, take, take: remember to hit the tip jar once in a while! These freeeware developers are doing this hard work out of a love of this hobby and a deep seated sense of sharing. Show them you're appreciation sometimes.

How about the Norwegian airport pack, about 50 detailed airports all around Norway, an absolute must have IMHOAlso the complete VOZ package, not all the airports are equally fine detailed but some are just great , certainly in combination with all the rest of the scenery for OZ.Tierra del Fuego, VRF scenery + SAWH and SAWO made by Daniel Rodriguez Careri, top notch.For South Africa, the complete AEROWORX package.In New Zealand, every single package made by Lawrie Roache. Hard to add to that lot. Personal favourites of those already mentioned would be anything by Aeroworx, especially FACT (Cape Town), the recent EPWA (Warsaw) by Mateusz Stabryla and the Norway airports package, esp. ENVA (Trondheim). In fact pretty much everything from www.fsnordic.net has been at least decent. A few random others:EGBB (Birmingham International): http://www.egbbscenery.co.uk/. One of the best UK freeware sceneries IMO; the freeware UK2000 versions of Gatwick, Glasgow and esp. Clearly a labour of love on a smallish field.Swedflight: http://www.rbdesign.se/swedflight.html is now freeware of course: ESSA (Stockholm Arlanda) alone is well worth it, and is much easier on the frame rate than a lot of lesser-quality scenery. Plus many many more that others have mentioned and/or don't spring to mind just now. Much credit to all those responsible from someone who can barely edit an AFCAD file.

I agree with everyone - all great freeware. Only one I can think to add to the above list for USA is Meigs Field KCGX by FlysceneryAn incredible photo-real package which includes the entire Canary Islands and GCLA La Palma by Canary SimOne suggestion for finding great freeware airports - check Oliver Pabst's list of supported freeware airports in AES. He only picks some of the very best. Not ALL the best - there are many great ones he hasn't done. But whatever he does pick, you can be sure is excellent qualityAlso, check out the BluePrint Sim website. They are a payware company but they offer two excellent airports as freeware. TBPB Barbados and TJSJ San Juan Puerto Rica. Good sceneries with great FPSFor New Zealand, there are several excellent ones other than the Lawrie Roach airports mentioned. (Some of his earlier stuff is not so good but the newer ones are excellent)I don't remember the authors but look for NZMC Mount Cook, NZQN Queenstown both by the same person, and NZNS Nelson. Also, the payware website Godzone has some excellent freeware for FS9 - I especially recommend NZPP Paraparaumu. I can vouch for all of these as in my career I have flown in and out of all of them many times.

Great topic Arklight. There are some mentioned here I haven't heard of and will try out! ISD Italian sceneries and Sochi definitely deserve a special mention.It's amazing how many top notch freeware sceneries are available. Together with the many top quality aircraft available it's possible to have a first-class setup without spending a penny. Flying the PT Tu-154 to Sochi or the Tinmouse 737-200 to ISD Project LIMC or Maltby's BAC 111 into Swedflight Copenhagen to mention just a few - simply amazing. The best thing is - the supply of freeware scenery is seemingly endless. One need never fly to the same airport twice!One not mentioned yet is EBAW Antwerp. Fantastic scenery.Another is the Lebanon package which covers OLBA and the surrounding area.Also the new Tripoli International Airport 2010 is great.Dave
