FS on a wide screen?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I just got a 42" plasma screen at work and I'm contemplating something similar for FS use at home. Does anyone know if there is a way to format FS to use the widescreen without distorting the image? I would assume those with LCD projectors wrestle with the same problem. There are also new medium sized LCD monitors that are widescreen which could be cool too. ThanksDavid

As far as I know, ther is no way to do it yet but you could still accomplish getting it on ther by undocking the indavedual screens like panel and front view and what not. Just a thought though.....Thanks........Jason

I was wondering if this was possible too. I have a 65" HD rear projection TV. I noticed while in display properties that some of the desktop resolutions have a widescreen format. However this might not be the case with FS2004. I plan on building a home cockpit and was hoping this big screen would be suitable until I could afford something better near the completion of the project. Maybe the folks in the Home Cockpit Support Forum might know.SteveCYYZ
