widescreen panels

Any help on this lads. Im thinking of getting a 22" widescreen from my samsung 17" lcd, but the widescreen issue is putting me off. I cant get on with VC.Steve

I was reading up on this and the word from PSS a few years back was that the gauges would need recoding to produce a widescreen 2d display, so presumably they took the route of doing a single 'master gauge' for the entire panel. bit of a pain really and therefore I'd bet the Justflight and blackbox 757s (which are largely repackages of the old PSS product) are gonna be similarly limited - I don't have those, but they make no mention of any widescreen capability added.

 

I have the QW757 and it's a good one, although it's not quite 1920*1080 and therefore does stretch a little bit at full widescreen, (so you'll need to adjust the working resolution in settings in fs9 to compensate).
