Well, I did work smarter since the goal was to rid myself of boredom for as long as possible, so doing it the longer way helped keep me occupied for 4 times as long.I've been doing so much, with so little, for so long,,,, that I could do anything,,,, with nothing,,,, forever :(

I understand, I was fighting my boredom by watching a documentary on Captain James Cook.It worked but PMDG could have helped me in a more exciting way. :(

You'd still have to spend a minute or so separating the Fs otherwise it would count it all as one word :(

PMDG are we being punished?

most of us have pretty short memories. Anyone remember the huge wait for the MD-11 or the FSX version of the 744?

But if they had never made the 747 and MD11 before.. the technology would not be as advanced and the quality would be disappointing 2 years after release and they would have to start all over again.

I know the difference between quality and quantity and the expectation from the "V2" is very highBut thats not really an argument.What is a Version V2? Only a compatibility to FSX or much more?! I wonder why the priority for the 737 is so low.Thats all

Its a total rebuild. It uses no lines of code from the old plane, nor any graphics as far as I know. Its not a port of the old plane, so yes, much more

It isn't. It was one of their very first releases. How do you figure it was/is a low priority? It's actually the first remake they've ever done so that says it's pretty high on their list of aircraft.

The lack of updates is becoming frustrating. Can I just sign up for an email alert when the release date is announced, so I can stop thumbing through threads looking for news? I'm sure this plane will be great, but the weather is getting colder and I could use a new bird in my hangar.

PMDG does not care about what we think as long as we buy their products.They will release updates when they want and not to the cries of the hundeds who want a update. JeffG

I couldn't agree more Jeff. The absurdity of this ever growing thread has bored me to tears. That being said, I still come and check it once or twice a week. In the beginning, I was almost lusting for the NGX. Now it has been relegated to something I might buy someday. You dangle meat in front of an animal long enough without letting it have it, they eventually just leave.Chuck D.CYXU

y'know whats the best thing? actually stay AWAY from the pmdg forum for a while...quite refreshing. Jump in, check the forum...no update...no release...navigate away....repeat same in one week. You'd be quite surprised...:)
