LIGHTS/GEAR/FLAPS dont work fs09

Hello,Most of my FS02 planes lights /gear/flaps wont work in FS09.How can this be fixed.I want to make an amphibian float higher in the water what points do i adjust.where can I read up on aircraft file modifications .
