GE Pro is better than GE 2006, are they made by same people etc? What are major differences apart from ASv6 feature with GE pro...Cheers (want definitive answer which ones better)

GE Pro adds texture sets based on your current weather - dark ones for cloudy days, etc.

Does that happen automatically-like if weather changes then it automatically changes? Or do you need Active Sky or something? Or do you need to install all different sets of ground textures so it can load them with weather changes?

If you have Activesky there is a setting that will start Ground Pro after getting the latest weather numbers. The setting is also in GroundPro which helps these two programs to work together on your flight plan textures. This is based off a flight plan and not just world weather at the time. Why would you need textures of ground color for areas you are not going to fly. Carl Perry 7+year sim pilot

No, not automatically. You select (or it selects based on your flight plan) the weather set you will use *before* your start FS.

Also, once FS is started no textures besides one, can be updated and shown in that particular FS session. You must close and restart FS to see any new textures. So the textures you start with are the textures will will see the entire session.
