Sound Guru's can you help with a little problem/project

Hi allI have an audigy2 sound card and wish to use this with an old theatre 5.1 sound system we were using for the TV. This sound board does have a digtal out (I think some might call it an optical out). The problem is that the receiver does not have an optical in and I was wondering if anyone would know if this can be done and still utilize all the speakers and sub-woofer? Would appreciate any information at all you might have to offer.RegardsBob G :-wave
