Best ATC traffic call heard this weekend.

Was heading into KORD Saturday, wx was the pits.Approach called traffic for a UAL flight....Approcach: "United 233, traffic one oclock, 5 miles at five thousand"UAL 233: "Ahhh, negative contact but we have him on the 'fish-finder'"I heard TCAS refered to as many things, but never a 'fish-finder' Made the whole trip a lot more enjoyable.Timothy

It's also referred to as a "metal detector". Ron
