Mytraffic/UltimateTraffic-How much control?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about getting one of the above. I'd like to find out if you have options of choosing some of the aircrafts and eliminating others. How flexible is each program? Are they integrated in a module, or use a different interface?Would appreciate any help.Thanks.Abe

Without a doubt, go for Ultimate Traffic. If you are going to run it in FS2004, you will have to wait for the patch. It is currently in beta and there won't be a patch for the AFCAD's until AFCADv2 is released in October. If you are running FS2002 and FS2004, you can install it in FS2002 and transfer the aircraft and traffic over to fs2004.The best part of UT is its interface. When I purchased it I already had over 1500 ai aircraft on my HD so I added a lot of aircraft right off the bat. UT currently contains 800 repaints and flightplans for over 2300 aircraft. with what is available on the net, you can complete most of the UT flightplans.Adding aircraft is really easy once you have them loaded in to FS. It is really just a couple of mouse clicks to reassign aircraft. To get a full idea of UT capabilities, download the manual before you buy. It is pretty detailed and it describes every feature. One other good reason to buy UT is because Flight 1 provides the server space for PAI.
