Did you try their beta patch concerning the autogen? The call it patch3 or so and you can find this very small file in their forums. No problems so far and way better performance in the dense areas.

Yeah I use that.... it helps a little...thanks.My PC is just old if you check my specs...

Right, just saw the "AMD 6000+" now. PNW goes really dense around e. g. Seattle pushing it towards the FSX limits. Might be that only Chrismas can help then :(

Andreas:Superb videos... now I gotta' learn how to do gliding ! :( Could you tell us what we'd need to install a gliding winch / related aircraft / features such as you used at Bill Womack's / Spotlope's excellent "Stark's Twin Oaks" ?Many Thanks for that inspirational fun (...and the reminder of what an excellent group Tangerine Dream was !) :( GaryGB

Well we have a little on on the way... but my better half said I might be able to use some cash in one of our slush funds for a new PC :(

Do you need me to launder any money for you. hahahaI too have an older rig and I will probably do something in the next few months. Probably a 460 nVidia card, an i7, some Corsair or Mushkin mem, and well, I haven't quite decided on the motherb.

Their sceneries are simply "priceless." I'm especially fond of their Australia scenery.BRILLIANT!

We're privileged to have Andreas make these videos for us, because he always adds such emotion to them without resorting to visual trickery - just a lot of patience and clever use of FS Recorder. A lot of the stuff we make has been designed to appeal to the "explorer" demographic, meaning it caters for those who like to fly low and slow and enjoy the thrill of seeing what lies over the next hill or valley. Mind you, there's still immense fun with technical approaches in complex airliners into large international airports, but I admit I love my bush flying a lot more :)

Cheers,

John Venema

Jean-Paul is absolutely right, it's the EH101 from the Acceleration pack, which I used in this sequence. To make it able to carry the log, I had to define a mini-mission, which I connected with a saved flight situation. I'm no expert in creating missions, but if I understood it right, you can carry things with almost every helicopter you like. If you need details, I can tell you more tonight, when I'm back at my home pc again.Btw. when you like the above video, you might like my previous clip too ;)

Regards, Andreas
Thanks for the info on the EH101. I never did get the Acceleration pack so I that explains why I hadn't seen it. No need to explain how to make the helicopter carry stuff, thanks for the offer though.I did watch the other video as well and it was really good as well. Really food for thought for those like myself who haven't puchased the PNW yet or any of the other ORBX offerings. Regading the first video, did you do any type of color editing or is that straight from the sim? I really like the coloring and was wondering, or if maybe your using the ENB bloom mod. I have been using the bloom mod for a while, but just when I think I have it just the way I want, I see your video and makes me want to start tinkering with the settings again.

@Variometer: AMAZING VIDEO!!! GREAT JOB!!!! *THUMBS UP* I have following questions and hope you can answer them:1.) which enbseries.ini do you use? Can I download and test it somehow? Please send me your enbseries.ini either per PN or through email.2.) what LOD_Radius do you use in your FSX.CFG? Is it possible for you to send me also a copy of your fsx.cfg so I can have a look over the settings you use? 3.) How did you enter the glider with Bob ?4.) Which REX clouds and sky theme you use?5.) How do you use so many airplanes at same time in the air? These are all AI or some other addon? And the birds? Just FSX thermal natural effect? Thanks and greetingsPegasus

Of course I'm using the ENB bloom mod. I attached the applied ini file, but I'm in doubt, that it will meet your expectations. I tested several enbseries files, and none of them led to a good result on my computer. I guess it depends on the calibration of your monitor, especially when you begin to change the saturation settings. When I'm creating my videos, I apply one special filter to the raw footage in order to make the overall look a little bit more realistic. There are many guys out there, who are reaching better results than me, but in the mean time I grew accustomed to my "style" :)For the entering scene of the glider I didn't use Bob. Instead of that I simply created 3 different Cockpit view with the new EZCA tool and played them one by one, using the defined keystrokes. All aircraft and cars, including the eagles an goose in the glider clip, are controlled by (hand edited) fsrecorder files. All other birds are part of the sceneries.Concerning the settings for REX, I can't exactly remember, because yesterday I finally found time to install the new overdrive package, and I forgot to save my old settings. For every single take in my video clips and for almost every flying situation I use different fsx config files in order to reach my personal best settings for each situation. Sometimes I use the built in function of loading and saving the settings, but most times I'm using orbx' fsxgo tool to manage all those different settings. With my current pc I'm far away from having the perfect fsx computer without any stutters or blurries in all situations, but when I'm creating videos, my intention is to produce smooth an hopefully beautiful movies rather than demonstrating how powerfull my computer might be. Who wants to see videos full of stutters and blurries ?Please have mercy with my broken English, hope I could make some things clear anyhow :)Regards, AndreasSorry, somehow the attachment got lost, so I simply insert my current ENB settings in this post.[PROXY]EnableProxyLibrary=0InitProxyFunctions=0ProxyLibrary=[GLOBAL]UseEffect=1AlternativeDepth=1AllowAntialias=1BugFixMode=0SkipShaderOptimization=0QuadVertexBuffer=0EnableShaders_3_0=1UseMRTRendering=0AdditionalConfigFile=enbseries2.ini[EFFECT]EnableBloom=1EnableOcclusion=0EnableReflection=0EnableMotionBlur=0EnableWater=0EnableShadow=0DepthBias=0EnableDepthOfField=0[iNPUT]KeyUseEffect=123KeyBloom=120KeyOcclusion=121KeyReflection=122KeyCombination=16KeyScreenshot=44KeyShadow=119KeyWater=118KeyShowFPS=106[REFLECTION]ReflectionPower=100ChromePower=100UseCurrentFrameReflection=1ReflectionQuality=1ReflectionSourceSpecular=50ReflectionSourceTFactor=50UseAdditiveReflection=1ReflectionDepthBias=0UseLowResReflection=1ReflectionSinglePass=1UseEnvBump=0EnvBumpAmount=100EnvBumpOffset=100ReflectionFlip=0[bLOOM]BloomPowerDay=1BloomFadeTime=400BloomConstantDay=1BloomQuality=0BloomScreenLevelDay=95BloomCurveDay=0BloomPowerNight=18BloomConstantNight=0BloomCurveNight=0BloomScreenLevelNight=20BloomAdaptationScreenLevel=24BloomAdaptationMultiplier=100BloomAllowOversaturation=1BloomMaxLimit=100[sSAO]UseFilter=1OcclusionQuality=2FilterQuality=1DarkeningLevel=30BrighteningLevel=30IlluminationLevel=30AdditiveIlluminationLevel=30UseAmbientOcclusion=1UseIndirectLighting=1FadeDistance=50UseForAlphaTest=0UseForAlphaBlend=0[colorCORRECTION]DarkeningAmountDay=20ScreenLevelDay=70ScreenLevelNight=1DarkeningAmountNight=0GammaCurveDay=0GammaCurveNight=-2ColorSaturationDay=0ColorSaturationNight=0UsePaletteTexture=0[WATER]UseWaterDeep=0WaterDeepness=20WaterQuality=0[sHADOW]ShadowFadeStart=40ShadowFadeEnd=80ShadowAmountDay=100ShadowAmountNight=30ShadowScreenLevelDay=60ShadowScreenLevelNight=20ShadowQuality=1UseShadowFilter=0FilterQuality=2ShadowBlurRange=30[ENGINE]ForceAnisotropicFiltering=0MaxAnisotropy=8ForceDisplayRefreshRate=0DisplayRefreshRateHz=60[MOTIONBLUR]MotionBlurQuality=2MotionBlurVelocity=1000MotionBlurRotation=1000[PERPIXELLIGHTING]SpecularColorMin=0SpecularColorMax=100SpecularColorMultiplier=100SpecularGlossinessMin=0SpecularGlossinessMax=100SpecularGlossinessMultiplier=100[DEPTHOFFIELD]DOFQuality=0DOFNumberOfPasses=5DOFFocusRange=5DOFBlurinessRange=5

Thanks David, I've just changed my signature, hope it answers your question :)Cheers, Andreas

Maybe I should OC my i950 to 3.8ghz and buy 6gb more ram. Nice setup you have there. I would have thought it was an Nvidia 480!
