Problem using the Bloom effects

Recommended Posts

Hi!I downloaded the bloom effect files from here:http://www.fs2000.or...4-bloom-effect-Then i followed the install instructions and put the .DLL and .INI file into the Flight simulator 9 folder. But when i start FS a window pops up saying that Flight Simulator cannot run because the version of Microsoft DirectX 9.0 installed on your computer is incompatible.I use FS9.1 and Windows 7 64-bit. Any ways so solve this? I've tried to reinstall DirectX from the FS cd1, but i was unable to because i've already have a newer DirectX version installed. Can anybody help me?

Had the same problem in Vista. You need to install DdirectX regardless, as you really don't have it although it says you have it, at least that did it for me. http://forum.avsim.n...om-effect-info/Hope this helps.
