Hi Guys n Gals..On approach in to MALE (VRMM) the Maldives, a sudden gust of wind threw me completey off course, I did not have the reactions to GOAround and in my mind I was already commited, so I went for the landing. I kind of crabed the landing, but on review it looked pretty serious. Can anybody take a look at my attached pics, and tell me what they think. The plane is an A330 by PSS and the Scenery is by Lago. I am very intrested as to what would of happend in real life or would it of been a disater. My Guess would be that there would be no serious problems. I have seen a couple of movie files filmed at Kai Tak in Hong Kong where 747's touchdown at as much as a 45 degree angle to the centre line and they all live to tell the tale so on this occasion no disaster. regards,markyboy.
