well heres is some info i found...not much out there.Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) Systems, ALSF-2, which is short for Approach Light system with Sequenced FlashersSSALR or Simplified Short Approach Light system with Runway Alignment Lights and Sequenced FlashersPAPI When descending at the appropriate slope, the two inner light boxes will project a red beam of light, while the 2 outer boxes will project a white beam. If slightly high, the 3 outer boxes will project white while the innermost box will be red, and if the pilot is too high on his approach angle, all 4 boxes will be white. Conversely if slightly low, the three inner boxes will be red, with the outer box showing white, and if too low, all four boxes will project a red beam. The ALSF lighting systems contain more high intensity lights than any other approach lighting systems, so they are conspicuous in visibility-restricting weather.im still searching...odog

I've never been to Dusseldorf and I don't know what approach lighting is actually there, but usually folks add whatever lights are present in real life when designing a simulator add-on.One place where you can read about the various approach lighting schemes (except for the CALVERT) is in the Aeronautical Information Manual, available on-line at:http://www.faa.gov/atpubs/aim/Chap2/aim0201.htmlHope that helps,John
