18 hours 27 minutes, 777-200LR, Sydney, Oz to Orlando, Fla, USA.Won't ever do it again - and would never do it in real life. Why do they even have planes that can? No one is insane enough to take that long a flight. The real life 14 1/2 hours from LA/SFO to Sydney sucks enough (and I have done that for real). So that answers both questions.

Hey BlackFox,The longest flight I have been on would be London - Auckland via Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific B747-200's back in 1986. Considering they were -200 "Classics," which don't fly as fast as -400's, you can imagine it was a very long time in the air!

Not really a "long" flight but it seemed to take forever to get there. It was in 79 with the Canadian Forces. toke 7 hrs of actual flight time but the trip was about 12 hours total. Got to Alert, spent 6 months in the dark, and then came home.http://members.shaw.ca/dan_cyxc/sigcard.jpgThe pictures below are of CFS Alert - and Pangnirtung, NWT, A quick stop to pick up a couple of Inuit workers for Alert - Thule AFB, The last stop before Alert.

Hmm... Longest real-life flights were Miami, FL - Manaus, Brazil or Miami, FL - Guayaquil, Ecuador. 5 hours or so, each.Probably the longest FS flight that I've done non-stop was Recife, Brazil to Monrovia, Liberia. That one ran about 5 hours as well. Usually, I only fly 2 or 3 hours straight, then save the flight and finish it later.

Military Flight #1Okinawa, Japan to El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, California.#2Norton Air Force Base, California to Pusan Air Base, South Korea.Don't know the exact times, but the one to Korea seemed the longest as we were on Alert at the time, My gear was stowed for a six month deployment just in case. I received about a 6 hour notice and we were airborne. Never found out why either. Very Strange. We were told that Korea was a stopover, but we had a 15 hour layover and they flew us back home. I hated being on 6 month alerts as we always had to sign out and be within a very short recall window just in case.Regards,Joe.Oshkosh Pictures From 2001 (Part 1) 78 Pics in Frames with 1mb in ThumbnailsHigh speed connection Recommended:http://home.attbi.com/~flypics1/FrameSet.htm.Oshkosh Pictures From 2001 (Part 2) 106 Pics in Frames with 1.5mb in ThumbnailsHigh speed connection recommended:http://home.attbi.com/~flypics2/FrameSet.htm.Picture Gallery of My Flight in a 1945 SNJ-6 on June 1st, 2002Joliet, Illinoishttp://home.attbi.com/~jranos/FrameSet.htm.http://home.attbi.com/~jranos/mysig.jpg http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif
