fsbuild - plans or routes ?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,I'm brand new to this forum and only purchased FSBuild yesterday. My question is this:FSbuild seems to 'build' files which are .pln files and not the .rte files required of aircraft such as my PMDG JS4100 (the reason for buying in the first place). How do you get FSbuild to export/build plans in the required format ( I'm running Win7, FSX & PMDG JS4100/MD 11 ) ??That's it really, any help would be appreciatedThanksIan Robertson

Under the menu Export to.... you need to tick PMDG737/747 (MSFS) as well as the fsx (xml) then the route file will be saved to the fsx/pmdg/flightplans folder assuming you have selected FSX in the options menu.John Ellison

BINGO! Many thanks John, I also have to remember to open FSbuild as Administrator ( Win 7 ) otherwise it doesn't export to the PMDG FLIGHT PLANS folder - even though it tells me that it has !! ( it will export to the Flight Simulator Files folder in My Documents qiute happily without Administrator rights though !?!)Once again, many thanks for your help, I was quite close to smashing my laptop into tiny atoms.Ian Robertson
