October 17, 200322 yr I have two of three monitors set to 1280x1024/32 resolution for clarity. When I go to the Full Screen Mode, FS9 changes the resolution on the second monitor to some lesser setting. Of course in full screen mode, all access to options are gone and the only thing on the second screen is whatever was put there in windows mode, and there is no option (toolbars for FS9 or anything else)on the primary monitor. Is there any way to retain my original monitor setting for the second unit in full screen mode? Thanks:RTH
October 17, 200322 yr I'll try and help from memory as I'm not on my FS puter.I have two monitors running full screen on an ATI 9700pro and this is what I've done. Monitor 1 (21"CRT) is at 1600x1200x32 and monitor 2 (15"LCD) is at 1024x768x32.In FS9 go to your display settings and set monitor 1 as per usual. In the device name box in the display settings it will list your video card like ATI 9700pro, click on the arrow on the right of the device name box and it should open and show your second monitor. Select this and then set the resolution from within the display options. Save and you should be all done.Hope this points you in the right directionPaul Gardner
October 17, 200322 yr Hey Paul how do you like that set up? I was thinking of picking up a 15" LCD to go with my 21" sony CRT, off a 9700 Pro.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. October 17, 200322 yr Its fantastic, works brilliantly. I use the second monitor exclusivly for FS Navigator, just the moving map, I never use the autopilot. I have used it for the GPS but moving panels in full screen is a pain in the arse with having to first go to windowed mode so I've given up on that. It was so much easier in FS2002.I get no frame hit whatsover and now I've got the latest Omega's the flickering has completely gonePaul Gardner
October 17, 200322 yr Author Thanks Paul:I had forgotten that FS gave me multiple monitor setting options. The window only showed my two cards until I scrolled down to show the second port on the dual graphics card. Thanks again.RTH
