November 15, 201015 yr I was going to fly the MD-11F on an RNAV approach into Tegucigalpa-Toncontin (OK, this is crazy, but that is another story). The MCDU did indeed have the RNAV approach to Rwy02 so I selected it. There was one field which requested an input of a MIN PROFILE. What does that mean? Does it mean that the vertical profile will only be respected/flown down to that altitude, and that below that altitude I have to control vertical navigation either by using V/S, open descent or hand-fly the plane? Thanks for any infos.

At that point you handly the rest.Regards Rob Prest
