A little Heads-Up on the NGX...

Will the 2D panel(s) be like the MD-11 or popups like in the J41...The J41 works like a charm with TH2GO in 5040x1050...but if i by accident switch to 2D panel in the MD-11 I end up with a flickering cursor and framerates that drop straight to the bottom!

I hope there is 2D pop ups, that MD11 MCP pop up is essential for me while flying in the VC with trackir and Ezdok.

New PC coming in 2 days im sooooo happy right now. And the NGX coming soon too!. My old PC has had enough of FSX its just not upto it anymore nor was it ever up to running it hehe. I will not be able to sleep hehe. Andrew Simmons

AndrewLook at my signature. Fantastic monitor, and VERY good value. They do a 24" - same res. though, so worth getting if you have the space for it on your desk!Regards

I had 2 24" Iiyamas and what I can say for sure is that there will never ever be nr 3... First one was "ghosting" so much that it was unusable for anything other than reading static text, it was replaced with my current one: PL E2407HDS which has blank colors, makes stange very high noise when in Standby Mode (try putting it in Your bedroom...) and if I'll forget to turn it off before shutting off power bar, it will trip CBs next time I turn it on... So, no more Iiyama for me, that's for sure.Regards,

I'm just a bit confused by your graphics card selection. You're building a high end computer, yet you opt for a middle of the road GPU? I would suggest that you replace that with something from the 5800 series or something from the 6800 series. Or, if you can wait for its release, the 6900 series. Just my two cents.Otherwise, the system looks great! I'm running an i7 920 OCed to 3.5 ghz, and it's rock solid!

Our whole school runs with Liyama monitors, that's about 17000 students, and around 2500 monitors. They get touched, handled roughly etc. etc. all the time and I've never seen a failing one. So yeah, I think a Liyama monitor would be a very good choice :) Sorry for going off-topic :(

Go for a monitor that has IPS-screens.Like that one... http://www.trustedreviews.com/monitors/review/2010/02/02/Dell-UltraSharp-U2410-24in-Monitor/p1DELL has actually good ones for a descent price. Don't go for TFT-monitors. IPS technology is what you are looking for.HP has some good ones as well. And Yiama or DELL or Hitachi or whatever.. well... it's according to me technology of the monitor that counts and a reasonable price. I found DELL has the best options considering what you get for money.Hope it helpsCheers

Go for a 24" monitor, if I may suggest. For a VC it is more convenient. Bigger, better view etc.Eric

I have this PC:- AMD 64 Phenom II X6 1055T 2,8Ghz (6-core)- Asus M4A87TD/USB3 AM3 Socket- 4GB RAM DDR3 PC2000(O.C.)- WD Caviar Black SATA3 640GB- ASUS Matrix GTX285 1GB DDR3FSX haven't got enought with it .... With a tuned fsx.cfg, runs good, but it can run better.I'm thinking to change processor and motherboard:- Intel Core i7 950 3.06Ghz - Asus P6T Deluxe V2Do you think that with this change, FSX will run faster? Thanks, and sorry for my poor english. Yes I plan on a 5800+ but wont be till after christmas. It should be enough for now to get FSX running a bit better then my old Athlon Phenom (the old one with the core clock speed of a hopeless 2.06) and GT9500 nvidia hehe.
