The fact that it has not yet been released is a strong indicator that we need more development time, isn't it? Reality speaks for itself. Do we need to continue to notify members of the community that it is not yet released? I think that is self evident, no? The status of "coming soon" is just that: The airplane is coming soon. You've all seen this phrase before, and you all know what it means. I would ask everyone to just settle down on this topic. We're thrilled that so many people are excited about this product, and I assure you, we at PMDG are excited about getting this airplane into your hands, but in all honesty, these incessant posts about release dates, and lack of updates are really quite pointless. We gave you a screen shot update about 2 weeks ago. Should we show you something every day? Maybe every hour? What's enough? When things are ready to show, we show you.Be rest assured, the airplane is progressing nicely, and some major hurdles are behind us. To make the sim do things it was never designed to do is no quick task, so just a little more patience from everyone would really be appreciated, and you'll all have this airplane in due course, and it is highly unlikely any of you will be disappointed. Until then, please refrain from further questions or complaints on this matter.
Sorry for that bad posting . I think the member or custumer need only a report for the Level of development thats only << . She is done when is done a good addon need time dry.gif . best regradsChris

Here is what I think. What everybody want at this moment are just news. I don't wanna know about release dates. I've read many and many times their position in this regard. All I and many other people want are news of how is the development going. I understand PMDG's point of view. Developing a software like this is not an easy task at all. It takes time and effort. But they could just say how is it doing. They could post a picture once in a while, maybe one per week, or maybe at each 15 days... a video per month or so. It's been weeks that we haven't recieved any significant update. I don't want the developers to waste all their precious time in the forum insted of focusing in the development, but some times when Ryan or Vin enter the forum, they could post some news. Not every single day, but from time to time to say how the development is happening, what are they working at the moment, things like this. I don't care about release dates. I know it will be ready when it's ready, and whenever it happens, I'll buy the NGX, either next week or in 2017. All that I and many other people here would like to see are just and only news. Nothing else. Doesn't matter how fast or slow the development is happening, I and many other serious people in this forum won't judge anybody.PS.: Yes, I read what Vin said yesterday. I'm not complaining, just saying how I feel.

An update is really needed soon. An actual "soon" too, not a developer "soon". It takes five minutes to get a few screenies, upload them, and make a short post. I'm pretty disappointed by the way PMDG has handled this whole thing. If after a while they knew it would take months longer, they really should have said something. I understand "hype" but it's starting to get boring.
Please don't tell us what "takes five minutes" to do. I actually put hours into crafting the "Then and now" post a while back. We've already shown everything there is to show right now - what are more pictures of the same things going to do for you? We will post a new update when we have something to show.If I get my way there were be absolutely no news or previews about the 777 during development - I'm sick of this.

Tabs, I'm just respectfully disagreeing/pointing out an inconsistency here: You haven't previewed the exterior, however it clearly exists since you showed a picture of it hidden behind a JS41.

Yeah, but maybe it is not to a point where they feel they are ready to show it to us. I am sure we will have a nice multi-picture post when they are ready to show it... patience...

RyanThrowing toys out of pram comes to mind!I can understand you being PMDG being fustrated but also the many customers out there waiting to purchase this fantastic product the frustration of the lack of information, even Robert said back many months ago that there would be regular updates.I personally can't understand why PMDG at this stage can't show some general shots of the exterior, I for one have seen enough of the interior which I'm extremely satisfied that it is the best and most complex cockpit ever :( If the NGX is months away that's fine but communication with your customers is vital.kind regardsJoe Park

People should get it into their heads that if they want the high simulation quality, they will have to wait, or just use the rubbish that's out there!I would lock this topic then it is released when it is released... end of!

Probably the best way to go about I think. But don't think that will avoid ALL this. Ask your friends at LDS. They dont share anything about their 757 development and there is still questions asked about it.And also don't start tee-ing off on your potential customers here. You dont get it both ways. You release those screenshots in the manner you did to play the crowd and build up the hype, and now that it is biting you in the rear end, dont go and turn on the crowd you so well incited the past several months. Advice to to both yourself and Capt R, saying nothing is far better than more dumb sarcastic posts from PMDG employees. I still dont like the fact that Capt Rs release date sticky post has yet to be removed.
