Is that my imagination or is that how the failures are implemented?

This question about tracking flight hours and generating failures had already been discussed. If done correctly, there is absolutely no-need, it would actually be wrong (!) to generate failures based on accumulated flight hours. Well, it depends on how it's modeled. You can have a certain item fail every 500 hours with no need to keep track of past flights, you're right. For example a cargo fire where it makes sense to model the probability as constant.but if you consider parts that wear out over time, the probability of failure increases every hour. someway a mantainance system would be needed to handle that

Well, the flight manuals are to be released "Within hours." Within hours could be interpreted as up to 24 hours. PMDG said (and then deleted so dont hold anyone to it) the real deal would be out 1-2 weeks after (7-10 days) and including a less-than-likely delay of 1 week, we will have it Wednesday the 22. Just in time for Christmas!

I don't know if this has asked before, if so forgive me. Will the sound being heard from 0:39 to 0:54 (when the gear is being raised) in

be heard in the NGX? Oh and could someone tell me what it is im hearing, is it the wheels still rolling?

I think the secret project is something big! Maybe the 787, or maybe even an 767. can't wait for NGX. It looks fantastic.

http://www.precision...8&idcategory=20There's your exterior screenshot :) PS - Something we hear loads during flight/boaring etc, is the cabin crew commumnicating via the intercom from FWD and AFT etc, with the accompanied 'ding dong' or sometimes just the insanity insuing ecam ding if they're calling us..these occur at random times during operation, any chance of getting a faint 'ding..dong' in the background in the soundset? Yes it can be heard from the flight deck before anyone asks...on the airbus it can anyway, not sure about the 73??Cheers.

I'm pretty sure PMDG said they would have done a 757/767 but as LDS are they wouldn't want to step on what they're doing as they have strong relationships, so you could count out the 757/767 I guess..speculation...It could be a lunar lander for all we know
