I bet they're having fun hanging out with friends and family and taking a break from FS for a bit..That's what I'm doing.

Guys, I bet if we all stomp our feet they will get the message. wink.gif
Well, perhaps this will make you all stomp louder! :( The PMDG Boeing 737-800NG at YBBN, Brisbane, Australia by Orbx. I've been doing this a long time, and very little phases me. However this combination just got me really excited about this NGX we are soon going to bring to you. You can check out an additional screenshot (taken a tad later) on our Facebook Page.Enjoy! And Happy New Year! (almost)

I have but two things to say:1. EVIL Big%20Grin.gif 2. Will PMDG be simulating the 6.9e-7 meter shift of light when the aircraft is on the ground compared to in flight? :(

*Faints*Look at the CB panel and the rivets and the leather on the headrest and the overhead panel lighting.....! Please keep em comin! And of course, I gotta say thanks! Also, (PMDG) now we are all curious about you and orbx. I know you hate this, but .... When do you think we will be able to get an idea about what is going on? In your post you say " ... what we are soon going to bring you." Are you referring to PMDG bringing the NGX, or to PMDG and ORBX bringing us something different? A lot to ask, but this ORBX relationship has really got me all curious. I shan't do any speculating yet though...... :(

[stomps louder] :(

Looks great guys, I know its not complete yet.. but the circuit breakers at the back of the cockpit look like their 2D, will they become 3D modeled, its just a small thing.. but it does matter :)

Interesting... we're at the point now though where we're gonna have to stop modelling all these options or the plane's never gonna get released, there's literally hundreds of them possible on the airplane - maybe we'll add this in a service pack or something, but for now it's just gonna be the HGS control panel on the pedestal.
I finally remembered to take a picture of this. The first one is the page you get when you press the MENU button. Then pres LSK 5L for HGS (or HUD in the old planes)to get to the page in the second picture. All HUD/HGS setup is done on this page. Yes even in the planes we have there are several variations. Heck even in just the new batch there are a bunch of small differences like vents and grimes light locations.

There's already more polygons in this VC than any other ever done for FS by a very wide margin... we're trying not to push it in areas that don't get looked at very often. The breakers are bumpmapped however and they do have some relief if you look at them close up.

Thanks a ton for these shots - that looks fairly simple... let me ask the programmers and maybe this'll make it in after all (no promises though). Can you get a shot of what's on the < HGS MODES page? What do the TEST and DECLUTTER options do exactly?
