Hey guys, today I noticed on the front page of Avsim that a fellow came up with a free tool/application that allows you to make an AI a/c or a flyable a/c into a static model that you can place using an object placer. The only caveat is that the model of the AI plane you are to use have to be an FS9 or earlier model, still not a bad idea.Although I don't have a huge need for this since I run UT2, some WOAI, and some custom AI that I built, it will come in handy if you want to place some AI in a static manner without having to write a bogus flight plan for it to fly a trip in the middle of the night and return. Here's the link to it for anyone interested it trying it out. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=154542&CatID=fsxutilI have already downloaded it and ran it just to look at the UI, but haven't made any libraries yet. It will be pretty cool though if you want to place some static AI in hangers, or maybe some additional AI at airports or gates that don't have many flights to them. Although there is a pretty wide variety of static GA AI, there has always been a lack of airline models for static use.Regards
