January 4, 201115 yr How are the frames? The free versions of the past have been unbelievable hits on framerates for me.
January 4, 201115 yr How are the frames? The free versions of the past have been unbelievable hits on framerates for me.Really? For me the FPS impact of the LLBG scenery for FS2004 was ziltch. Also when I enabled it in FSX the FPS impact was tiny... January 4, 201115 yr I had huge lights and massive framerate hits when using the scenery in fsx. I run with acceleration addon and a 64bit os if that matters.
January 4, 201115 yr Author I had huge lights and massive framerate hits when using the scenery in fsx. January 5, 201115 yr I had huge lights and massive framerate hits when using the scenery in fsx. I run with acceleration addon and a 64bit os if that matters.I would imagine it is completely different considering this version is payware and the other was freeware designed for FS9. January 5, 201115 yr Author I had huge lights and massive framerate hits when using the scenery in fsx. I run with acceleration addon and a 64bit os if that matters.Oops I just realized that you are most likely talking about using the fs9 version in fsx? so far from the product info the new llbg is native fsx I haven't been able to purchase yet it yet so I don't know how the frame rates are. like Jeff mentioned if its not native to fsx it will have big problems and drag down frame rates. so I wouldn't import some airports from fs9 to fsx. January 5, 201115 yr It is never a good idea to use old software in a new version of FSX, whether that be AI aircraft, real aircraft or scenery (effects). I understand some people do it, but in those cases it is better to just stick with the old FS ;-)Ben Gurion X is a totally NEW design, native FSX and made for FSX SP2/Acceleration.FPS obviously depends on one's machine, but our beta testers have not reported any problems in that area, so I am confident that with a proper FSX machine you'll have no problems either.Enjoy! January 5, 201115 yr This brings back memories! :( Munich to Tel Aviv was the first flight I did in real life in 1980.On board an El Al B707. I do not know which 707 version. Maybe David knows, what they flew that time?Wolfgang
