Track-IR freezes

Recommended Posts

Hi,I have a problem with Track-IR due to FS2 Crew, Track-IR alway's worked fine untill now. When I tell the FO to start the 'Before start checklist' he starts his checklist and suddenly Track-IR stops, I can't restart it (not even when I disconnect and connect Track-IR's USB bus). I use Track-IR with my Yoke and FSUIPC connected at 3 buttons (Pause, Prit sc, and Delete) but those keys are not the problem. I have changed them and the problem remains. What is the solution? I looked for this problem at the forum but did'nt find any.Best regardsEric

Hi ByorkSomeone must be the first with a new problem? Yes, I can reproduce the problem. I have tried both the latest versions (Final) of Track-IR but the problem remains. Below the hyperlink to a demonstrationvideo, to show the problem. I have not exactly followed the procedures. When the image go's to the left and down it's due to the fact that I look at the checklist. Just ignore that please. q9m.mp4.th.jpgDemonstration videoKind regardsEric

Hello Byork,Did you receive the files? I tried to solve the problem by installing FS2Crew VC again but the problem remains. One thing I noticed, when installing de general B737 I did'nt use the 'administrator' option when installing FS2Crew. The result was a re-install due to Windows to install FS2 Crew with the recommended settings for Windows (compatibility). The PMDG B737 (witch I use) I have installed as 'Administrator' with the result that one installation was enough. I use Windows 64Bit Ultimate and have Panda for my Internet Security, version 5 of Track-IR software is installed.Best regardsEric

Hi Eric,Did you not get the email I sent you? Please check your spam folder.Does the Track IR accept keyboard input to control any Track IR functions? Are any of the keyboard assignments the same as those used by FS2Crew to interface with the PMDG 737?Best,

Hi Byork,No, I'm sorry to say I didn't receive the E-mail. Not even in the SPAM folder, could you send it again please? Track-IR respons to key's to pause, presicion, and center. But I can tell you that I delete many of the keyboard assignments in FS intself and also in PMDG. The main reason was not to get wrong reaction to input. Between FSUIPC, PMDG, and so on. "Are any of the keyboard assignments the same as those used by FS2Crew to interface with the PMDG 737?" I will check this but many are deleted.Best regardsEric

Hello Brian and Byork,The remote connection ain't necessary anymore, it has been solved. "Are any of the keyboard assignments the same as those used by FS2Crew to interface with the PMDG 737?" I will check this but many are deleted." I checked the PMDG and FS9 key-settings and deleted all emaining key's. I checked the menubar and saw FS Recorder that I recently have installed. Proved to be that FS Recorder also has the possibility for using Key's, of course I deleted all of them. I just finished a flight and all works fine now regarding Track-IR and FS2 Crew. I still do'nt know what key-command triggerd the problem. Thanks for all the support,Best regardsEric
