January 15, 201115 yr So 413x3, end of the day it is just opinions, so no need to get your knickers in a knot over my opinion.Wow did you enjoy writing that novel? Having opinions is one thing, purposely bashing a company and throwing out insults is not an opinion. If you didn't buy it, how can you have an opinion on it?Every developer has had issues including CTDs, so should I rush into a topic about the latest PMDG release and sayit seem to be again a case of releasing an incomplete job and a few patches will follow shortly.. Or maybeThe number of patches released by PMDG for last couple of planes speak for themselves. Not to mention you insulted Carenado for this (Only one patch for almost all their airplanes to begin with...)Now go back to the rock you came from.
January 15, 201115 yr David, You'd better stop now. Your accusations against Bliksimpie are ridiculous and an apology would be in order. Don't make things worse. January 15, 201115 yr Now go back to the rock you came from.HelloAbsolutely no place for that type of comment in the forums. We are talking about pretend aircraft here no matter how good or bad they are.Get some perspective guys.
January 15, 201115 yr Well, I think the 3D gauges look cartoonish and I'd rather have the ability to insert the RXP gauges, but no such luck.David David Porrett
January 15, 201115 yr HelloAbsolutely no place for that type of comment in the forums. We are talking about pretend aircraft here no matter how good or bad they are.Get some perspective guys.Bliksimpie has done a lot to technically advance this hobby. As a matter of fact a number of my aircraft have benefited from some of his instrument modifications that have greatly enhanced their operations. Not only that, he has usually been right in most of his opinions. So David, please knock it off.Kind regards,
January 15, 201115 yr Sorry David for stepping on your toes.Sorry to the rest of the forum membersTopic closed and bye bye
January 16, 201115 yr David, You'd better stop now. Your accusations against Bliksimpie are ridiculous and an apology would be in order. Don't make things worse. My accusations? I said that it seems he's being paid to bash Carenado aircraft because his negative comments have no place here. Now I'm expected to apologize? You have got to be kidding me. Telling me to not get my knickers in a knot after he writes 10 paragraphs in response to me... unbelievable.
January 16, 201115 yr Looks pretty, but the ground effect and random OOM errors are a bit too off-putting for me. I'll buy it once it's patched out.

January 16, 201115 yr Can I change my mind about the C340. Ta. :( Given that better brains than I say that there's something amiss, i.e. ground effect, I'm now not negative about the kite. :( We Backcountry good ol' boys tried various little .cfg changes and pronounced them better. Great! We'll wait for the inevitable patch and get on with it. This morning though I has slight misgivings about the tweaks and set them back to vanilla. My reasoning was this. Instead of us fitting the plane, we were trying to make the plane fit us. You can imagine how chuffed I was when I spoke to the author of said tweaks and he came to the same conclusion as me!As for the dreaded ground effect, I, for one was approaching like a bull in a china shop! I made myself approach in a much more measured way and whaddya know? Touchdowns are sweet. :( My Cheyenne can now take a long, well deserved break. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
January 20, 201115 yr hello first,i sent an e-mail to Carenado and asked them if there will be a update for the C340 II, and all the "bugs" will be fixed.that is what they answered: We will provide a Service Pack for the C340 which will corrects some reported issues. Carenado With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
January 27, 201115 yr The Service Pack is OUT :( DickJust took a flight from KSFO to KLAX, at 12,000 feet cruise, finishing with an RNAV approach into Rwy 6L. Service pack applied - much improved altimeter :( and handling very nicely now.Very smooth all the way - great looking cockpit (as well as exterior).Wonderful flight!I'd say: a worthy successor to the FS9 C421 which was always one of my favorites. Bert

Still feel like I am going to land front wheel first and when I just pick it up you need to so carefull.. am I missing the boat here..It just still feel if it is not in love with mother earth and want to stay up there on the landing.
