Which external frame limiter is everyone using?

None! I'm rocking the FFTF=0 and limiting internally. The external limiter never worked for me for some reason so it's my only real option

None. The newer version made my frame rates tank. The older version worked fairly well for me, (slightly smoother) but increased blurries slightly in some situations. I got rid of most .cfg tweaks also except for [bufferPools] RejectThreshold=98304. Doing that has all but eliminated textures not keeping up. I lock the frame rate internally at 35FPS. Stays close except in larger centers like CYVR and KSEA.Regards

If you really found the right version, you don't really need that jar at all. You should be able to edit the bat file manually. The jar file is ONLY needed to change setting using an interface that uses Java. I never used that. You don't need it ro actually use the limiter.I also still use the 'old' FPS Limiter V0.2. limiter, however it seems you can't download it anywhere anymore...EDITThe bat looks like this:start D:\"FPS Limiter\"FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3D9 /f:25 /x:OFF /l:OFF "D:\FSX\fsx.exeSimply change the paths to the two exe files so they match your system. /f:25 is the desired fps: set it to what you want. Leave the rest as it is, including the sometimes oddly placed " signs!

I have it on my sky drive... and I used the .jar file because I'm not good at editing strings like that... the jar file is just the GUI to get noobs like me through the process haha.If anyone's interested, here's the "old" limiter:http://cid-408ca931940d5e3c.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/FPS^_Limiter^_0.2.rar

Ryan,Thank you!I still can't find the Jar file though. I found a bunch of dlls, an exe, and .class files but not a .jar file. For some reason, I can't see it. ;(

Worked perfect! Thanks again! Haven't noticed a difference yet but haven't really tested it all that much.
