Does anyone know if there are Aircraft Carriers that Microsoft already has on FS2004 ACOF or if there are any good downloads that work for FS2004 ACOF??

Do a search, as there've been a couple of good posts on aircraft carriers and Arrestor Cables software recently. The best add-on by far, however, is this one, uploaded this week:FS2004 Scenery only-HMNZS Waikato, Aircraft CarrierNZ Vers 1.0. Nuclear-powered a/c carrier basedat Devonport Naval Base,Auckland,NZ in Hauraki GulfIncl.dyn scenery( AWAC, VTOL HARRIER, F18,Sea-King,Skyhawks)landable flight deck( carrier & escort),4 escort craft, elevators, hangar deck, rotating radarHornets,Hawkeye,Sea King on deck, navaids, refuelingzone, nightlights, helipad, wake, mules, crane, crew ondeck,Pop Up Blast shields, special flares and steam catapult fx,ILS,NDB,VOR.AcabNOTinclBy Savern RewetiIt is awesome. Hi,Search the Avsim library for the file 'accvall3.zip'. This adds 18 Aircraft carriers to Flight Simulator. I have it installed in my FS2004 as well as 'waikato1.zip'. There used to be a map you could get(a .gif or.jpg image) that showed where the carriers in 'accvall3.zip' are located but it's not available anymore. The closest thing I could find was the following description. You may want to copy and paste into a text file to keep around. When in the vicinity of these carriers I believe you can find them by tuning the ILS frequency on your NAV radio to 110.30. I know you can find the one SouthEast of Jacksonville Florida using this freq. at the very least, but I am pretty sure they all have this ILS.Cheers,Jim18 CARRIERS ARE INCLUDED:CV-67 Kennedy-- Persian Gulf, off the coast of Kuwait-- Atlantic Ocean, East of Jacksonville NAS, FL USACVN-68 Nimitz-- Sea of Japan, near South/North Korea border-- Tasman Sea, off New South Wales, AustraliaCVN-69 Eisenhower-- Atlantic Ocean, East of Oceana NAS, VA USA-- Gulf of Sidra, off the coast of LibyaCVN-70 Vinson-- Indian Ocean, off the coast of Somalia-- South China Sea, Southwest of TaiwanCVN-71 Roosevelt-- Arabian Sea, West of Karachi, Pakistan-- Bay of Bengal, off the coast of Burma (Myanmar)CVN-72 Lincoln-- Gulf of Santa Catalina, Northwest of Miramar NAS, CA USACVN-73 Washington ** I do not install CVN-73 ***-- East Mediterranean Sea, near Lebanon and Israel-- Lower Adriatic Sea, near Albania and MontenegroCVN-74 Stennis-- Strait of Juan de Fuca, West of Whidbey Island NAS, WA USA-- Pacific Ocean, off the coast of NicaraguaCVN-75 Truman-- North Sea, East of Scotland (not so far from oil rigs depicted in UKOILRIG.ZIP)-- Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Sao Paolo, Brazil-- South of Ivory Coast, Africa

You are correct, and a very busy boat it is. I took the R-22 out to her and I'm glad I did as it was tight with all the activity, even an AWAC circling. Caution the AI aircraft will run over you crashing the session. Wonderful job, thanks to the talented people involved.John :-rotor
