Weather?

Hello,I have FS2004 and I'm currently not impressed with the weather effects on the ground. When it rains the ground gets wet but I cannot see this on my FS2004 but on some youtube videos when it rains theres like puddles and water on the ground and grass. Same with the snow when it snows the snow doesn't settle but just looks like falling white dots. I have made my weather settings high and dense but still no good. Does anyone know how get weather like real weather?Thank You

HiIt is not possible to get these effects in FS2004 - it's a limitation of the software. Although I do not have FSX I believe that that product will show these effects.David

Hi,You can fake FS04 by using different runway textures, but it's not like if it starts raining/snowing, FS04 is suddenly going to switch to the proper textures. Once FS is started only one texture can be updated and shown in FS.

Hey Jim, there is a addon that does this for you and I think it's freeware, I'm away from my sim for a while so hopefully someone else can assist.Regards

Yes thank you it took me long to find a good download because most of them were broken thanks JSkorna However everytime I try to install a texture on Real Environment Pro it comes up with an 'error has occured'?
