Hi,I can't figure out why all of a sudden I have trees and buildings randomly placed at east midlands. Can it be a layer problem ? I have not installed anything in Europe lately.I just updated GEX.Any idea on how to fix it ?Thanks,Vic

Looks like some of your exclusions are loading incorrectly. Basically when designing scenery it is possible to exclude elements of scenery - autogen, water etc. I think in GEX it installa exclusions as an object in the scenery library. It may be worth looking there. Also try ensuring that GEX is high up on the scenery list - i have had occasions where older scenery has shown through new because of the priorty order.Hope this helpsTom

As GEX is only replacement textures installed into the primary \Scenery\World\Texture folder of FSX, there is no "priority" to set.As far as trees and such inside an airport, layering can affect that so that any autogen exclusions are overridden. I would look at what the airport installs and make sure you have positioned the files properly.

This may be a red herring, but GEX EU 2.0 has a change to call fewer autogen trees in forest areas, thus improving performance. But they warn that this change exposes a FSX glitch which can make autogen trees appear in inappropriate places, such as "lake coves, river forks and in some cases smaller airport runways"This option can easily be disabled in GEX via the Tree Tile Autogen Switch. Check out the detail here:http://www.simforums.com/forums/gex-europe-v20-update-is-now-live_topic37769.htmlAs far as I know it only concerns trees though, not buildings.

When I have seen this it was caused by the airport blg being at a lower scenery priority than another addon that generates autogen. An example would be MyTraffic X airports at a lower scenery priority than SceneryTech landclass. The solution was to take the affected airport bgl and move it to a higher priority. You may have to use ADE to modify the airport with a autogen exclusion polygon plus move it higher.
