Cheap good soundcard for FS2004 and XP

Hello,I am looking for a cheap but good soundcard for FS2004, and which is supported by Windows XP.Thanks in advance for any ideas.Nico

NicoHave a look at Creative Labs Sound Cards.Here, in the UK, they do one called Sound Blaster 5.1 which does not cost very much and works under XP. I know because I used to have one before I upgraded to an Audigy 2 :-)David

You might also try the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. It's under $50 and a nice alternative to the SB cards.Best,Bill

I use my onboard one (included on motherboard) because I had problems with my SB live since fs2002; works well in fs2004 also

I use a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and it runs a lot better than my older sound blaster live. I had a lot of problems with crackly sound with the live. (well documented problem with the live cards) If your in the US the audigy 2 can be had at Newegg for pretty cheap. They have an oem version for 72 bucks shipped or an audigy 1 for 55 shipped if thats to much. Scott...
