What do you mean with "multi-core will me bring better results"? It will bring you better results. FSX need 3 cores to run best. one core for the mein thread and two for texture loading., so multi cores will give you better results.For the CPU: I would go for an i7 CPU, but also the i5 will overclock to 4 GHz. And that is waht you need to get ir run without thinking about the frames. Maybe you can change for an i7-2600k and overclock it to 4,5-4,8 which really aplicable with it. If you go for an i7-2600k you´ll have to wait some time till Intel gets the problems they have with these chips fixed.
