Hoow to load the PSS/POSKY merge 777

Featured Replies

Hi there, my question is simple. I started to use this merge and it's brilliant. My question is - the PSS load manager doesn't really load this merge, does it? If I'm correct, how to load the merged aircraft?

A proper merge will still allow you to use PSS Load editor. I use a SMS/PSS merge and my load editor works fine.

But the load manager updates the original files, doesn't it? Not the ones in the merge folder...

Hi,

i know this is a very old issue/topic, but....

My only option is, (although not realistic) after i "load" the PSS777 via the loadmanager, copy the desired 'Load' lines in the aircraft.cfg to the POSKY777 aircraft.cfg, overwriting what is there. (Always backup your original Posky 777 aircraft.cfg!) This Works for me as close as possible.

I'm trying to see if there is a way to program a batch file (.BAT) that copies a certain text within a file to a certain place within another file and overwrites it.

This would be easier, as you can load your Merged 777 with 2 clicks:
* Click SAVE on the PSS777 Loadmanager to save your data.

* Then Click the .bat file to copy this data to the desired POSKY777.

This will probably require 2 .bat files, 1 for POSKY777-200LR and 1 for POSKY777-300ER.

(.cfg files are nothing else tan renamed .txt files, which if opened with the comando "Rightclick > Open with..." should be normally available.)

Since i'm quite new with Batch processing it's gonna be a long search for that answer, i guess...

If anything new pops up on this question/answer, i am curious too hear it too....
