MSEAirports update - 56 airports and counting!

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, just a quick update and request from MegaSceneryEarth Airports!First the update: I'm about to go on a development break as I attend some gaming conferences over the next two weeks and just wrapped up development on the 56th airport to be listed on the site. Very happy at how these airports are turning out and I've received several emails over the last few weeks from people expressing their enjoyment at being able to use them. One person even admitted to buying up some more MSE tiles so he could experience some new fields! I've also had the pleasure recently of talking to Al Wheeler via email about his California Central Coast Scenery, which is a very similar project to what I am doing except he's done his work on west coast airports. Sadly, he expressed to me that advancing age was not allowing him to do much more development, so we won't be working together on any new projects moving forward but I will be adding his existing works to the website. And on that note, the request: Although I have developed the bulk of airports that currently exist on MSEAirports.com, I haven't developed them all and it's not my intention for this to be a website dedicated to airports I have developed, but to airports that work well with any MegaSceneryEarth tiles around the USA. So to anyone out there with MSE textures - if you are also using freeware airports that correctly match the ground textures or use their own ground textures that work well within MSE tiles, please send me information about them! I'm still working with a (very busy) Robert Ferraro from PCAviator to integrate MSEAirports into the main MSE pages and the more airports we have the better. Thanks everyone. I'll leave you with a few shots from my latest piece of work, KBLM Monmouth Executive.
