I have found an occasion to sing the praises of a certain Payware company I have recently had the good fortune of dealing with. The company in question is RealAir Simulations (http://www.realairsimulations.com), I recently read, on a well known FS website, that they were about to release a SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 for FS2K2, I headed over to their site and immediately purchased a copy for $25. It looked great in the screenshots. The download went fine, and the self installer with which it is supplied started up alright BUT it failed to finish the install. I recieved error messages everytime I tried to install it. Devestated, I contacted Rob Young, one of their staff, who almost immediately came back to me with a reply and a number of possible solutions. I tried them all, nothing worked. After day 1 of this saga, Rob decided that for my trouble, and as we hadn't managed to sort the problem out, that he would refund my money. Emails went back and forth between Rob and I for 2 days. Eventually we did get the problem sorted out, in a round-about way, but sorted none the less. I now have an absolutely superb aircraft, worth every penny they charge, and as far as I know, the only FS2KS plane which is able to properly perform a SPIN........ for FREE. And to top off this experience, this whole episode ran over a WEEKEND. What a pleasure it is to find a "company" who are willing to go so many extra miles to ensure that they have a 100% satisfied customer. If they bring out anymore FS2K2 aircraft, they can rest assured, I'll be first in line. Well done to RealAir Simulations. Pete NorvalBerkshire, UK

Glad to know that they go that "extra mile", I am still debating whether to get the SF260 - since I have quite a few "payware" aircraft to keep me going & it is not what I would usually fly. However, the reviews of it are really starting to tempt me.....

George,I can't tell you how, or how not to, spend your money! Everyone places a different value on different things but for me personally I feel the cost of the SF.260 is more than reasonable. The nice thing about these forums is that you will get a mixture of opinions from a wide selection of people. So far, the opinions have been very good!Iain Spowart,Scotland.Webmaster and photographer,Scottish Claymores 2002Cheerleaders Fan Sitehttp://avsim.iainspowart.com/2002-s.jpghttp://www.claymorescheerleaders.comhttp://www.iainspowart.com
