Agree acording the list , but you can consider to make a uppdate .

Clean the lis from very odd results they ar only confusing .

For exampe I7 2500-2700 series scale to clock changes in the same pattern, and ram speed latansy ( cl6-cl11 and 2T 1T).

Lot of the avarage youser think its must be the card , as you see its a lot of 580:s is it possible that a 3gig 580 make a 10fps gain ?

If not, can a 2600 less than 4,5Ghz with 1600mhz at cl 9 do that with your recomended settings?

Can you tweak Win to gain 10fps?

I'm aware there might be erroneous results, but in general, list tells what it should - if you get a similar hardware, you have enough computers to compare with and make sure your performance is on par - this is what the list there for in the first place.

Can you please be a bit more specific about the benefits you see from Virtu MVP?

When I i get a suitable OC stabilised I certainly would like to test FSXMark 11 with Lucid - but perhaps the difference one would see is in other less quantifiable terms than FPS?

Hi

pushed the 2700k to the limit , the vtt imc voltages worries me a little

will not fry the memory controller.

 

I put in a 3770K in this week , bench next weekend

OC stable @ 4.7 GHz 1.41 V.

I guess this goes some way to confirm the advantages of fast or very fast RAM.

 

A comparison with TechMaxGuys system show the same MB (Asrock Z77 Extreme4) and Ivybridge 3770K -> 3570K (both @4.7 GHz),, GFX 680 -> 670 OC, 2x4 GB 2133 CAS9 -> 1600 CAS7. Sure all of this plays a role in explaining the difference in results - but a change in Avg. FPS 54.1 -> 40.5 does call for some thought on my part.

 

Anyway beauty (and smoothness) is all in the eye of the beholder :Thinking:

Yeah, it obviously should. I have no idea why it's not with the benchmark - with the NGX there's a definite clear boost in performance.
