Thanks for the results James! Very nice performance!

Just a quick question, where you running BP=0 with those tests?

The limitations on overclocking and the fact that overclocking destabilizes memory speed may be because intel's IVR is not robust enough.

When the quality mainboards become available they have the right stuff.

Haswell's got heat...Old School water's got cooling.

Don't see BP=0 in the Venetubo,s Cfg.

Those results are really interesting! I'm looking to upgrade my q9550 and have Haswell in mind. How did you manage to get 4,7 GHz fom the i4770K chip? From the reviews I've seen they are really hard to overclock, many are struggeling to get past 4,4 GHz.

All of the reviewing teams are obligated to use hardware that is consigned.

Trying to cool Haswell with a Corsair H100 is like trying to hunt grizzly bears with a fly swatter!

Hang on to that q9550 until the quality mainboards arrive because there may be problems with voltage regulation.

Would you be willing to run FSMark11 again with BP=0? I am curious as to how many more FPS you will see.

Hi

Haswell retail chip: MALAY L310B479 Not DELIDDED.

GIGABYTE  GA-Z87X-OC  LGA 1150.

Cooling: H100 Lapped

fresh windows 7 64

fresh FSX sp2

Nvidia 320.18

Venetubo replacement Cfg.

WideViewAspect True

1680x1050x32

I run Vcore 1.31V to not get throttling with the high memspeed its Tricky, the cooling is
not top of the line, The chip is quite good for a retail, but not a Golden one.
But the MoBo is very good performs like the pro cards but 40% cheaper.

I Shall run the CPU with subzero when ready with all tuning.

Was not sure if a should test Haswell but when see H L James run high avg fps, whit that clock and low memspeed .
had discussions with a friend with a ES sample that do +5ghz 1.28V Aircooled and that Haswell performs extremly well in 3DMark 01.
Iam sure that HL James gone sort the problems with the memspeed with high clocks, some new Bios uppdates from ASUS can do it.
I have test 9 different beta Bios three yesterday and six today.
