Really horrible what happened there! Thankfully I wasn´t born there. I hope thet they can fix their probelms with their nuclear power plants. If not, we all will have to suffer from this.

Yup, and unfortunately it's already affecting us, everything from Power stocks to tech stocks. It's all down, people are selling, doubts are being cast about their future. Some analysts are even saying it could be the end of NUKE POWER, this probably won't happen, but it's incredible to hear people say it.

It’s devastating…and I’m sure the effects of the tsunami are even worse than I can imagine from the pictures. Here on the west coast of US and Canada it’s an eye opener, because the message really hasn’t quite sunk in how vulnerable we are too. Cities like Richmond BC have no real defense against tsunami and few exits. Historically we know this magnitude of quake will happen here – but when. For now all my hopes are with Japan and folks there.

Thanks for sharing this, Bill. Saw it on CNN but of course between the horrible studio lighting, projector, and Anchor, I couldn't see a damn thing. So, for that I am glad you posted. Incredible devastation, not just on the ground, but... have you checked the stock market lately? Just saying. It's becoming ridiculous what people are saying. Things will clean up, and eventually get back to business, so to speak.
