Bert, I have place this gauge where you said to put the ADF (vacuum air gauge)

KingAir!Turn_Coordinator,  126,391,118,118

And OK there

I would also like to remove the big 3 inch turn coordinator (no longer needed), and put this gauge in its place

KingAir!Rmi   leaving the numbers as they are.

It is not working and I would like that RMI there because I like that setup better can you assist me please ?

There are very few things you can change in that panel, and that is not one of them...

TC and GTN brought my 58 to life in the sim, so I wanted to bump this and ask again if there is a solution. We used to have two ADF's in the 80s here on twins. I have seen Bert has an ADF in lieu of the 2 inch suction gauge, but how does he get an indication without the radio ?

Me too, TC and RMI did brought the 58 to life again. I replaced the Fuel totalizer with a RMI and Gem6 with the Fuel totalizer. :laugh:

Hello all, Bump....

I have the Carenado Twin Otter Extended and have just purchased their B58 Baron. 😬 I am extremely disappointed there is no ADF or indicator, it is such a shame because the airframe is fantastic and a beautifully crafted model.

Can anybody help me please, by explaining in a bit of detail how I can fit the complete Bendix Radio Stack from the Twin Otter in to the B58 and also fit the ADF indicator card gauge as well?

That said, I would rather not remove any of the gauges to insert the ADF indicator gauge, so is it possible to fit this below the Instrument Air Guage to the left of the VOR2 indicator?

Many thanks and all the best everyone.

There are limits to what you can do in the 3d cockpit... you are basically limited to replacing existing gauges/radios..

So placing a new gauge in an open space can only be done by the original author, unfortunately.

OK thanks Bert, So I will have to exchange a gauge, no problem. Can you point me in the right direction with the Radio Stack swap? for example, do I have to copy any folders / files across from the Twin Otter to B58.

Many Thanks for your help.

I assume that you are looking at the Aerosoft Twotter.. If so, all the gauges are 3d modeled and not portable.. just check the panel.cfg file for the Twotter.

That is why the examples above use older, 2d gauges which can be identified in the panel.cfg file and copied to another airplane..

Sorry Bert, my bad, yes the Aerosoft Twotter.

I have A2A PA28 / C172, but I guess these are 3D Radios as well?

Ultimately I want to get rid of the Garmin units and have a normal Bendix Radio Stack + AFD Gauge.

By the way, I just noticed the FSX default B58 has a 2 in 1 VOR2-ADF gauge, but its poor quality, maybe search about to see I I can get a quality 1 of these and swap the VOR2 gauge out for it, would this work?

I don't understand the procedure to accomplish this, where do I find the 2D Radio stack gauges and where do I put them in the Carenado B58?

This is from the Twotter CFG - Have no Idea what I am looking for, sorry to say.
